Skunks
  • There are two types of skunks, the stripped and spotted.
  • These animals feed on grasshoppers, beetles, insects, crickets, mice, and rats.
  • They live next to ponds, fields, abandoned cars, and in burrows underneath structures.
  • They damage properties by digging up the yard and roll back sod for food.
  • They carry rabbies, and they can temporarily blind a person for 15 minutes with their spray.
  • They are the second largest rabbies carrier.
  • They don't hibernate and they are nocturnal.
